Son rôle dans ARO

Le reseau ARO est une memoire musculaire pour les operations portables en plein air. Cadence hebdomadaire, enregistrements structures, discipline AAR. C'est aussi ce qui se rapproche le plus, dans la communaute EMCOMM elargie, d'un reseau d'entrainement recurrent et convivial pour les flux de travail Winlink + JS8. Les operateurs capables d'executer ces protocoles de maniere fiable en plein air sont les memes qui peuvent les executer lorsque l'infrastructure est hors service.

Le reseau fonctionne sans interruption depuis 2021-07-25. Le rendre visible sur aro.travel en 2026, c'est offrir une presence web attendue depuis longtemps pour un service radio existant, pas un nouveau programme.
